Lucid Motors is looking for a highly motivated Project Manager for our Powertrain Team to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment where you will work with highly motivated teams that are dedicated to world-class quality standards on extremely challenging projects.
You Will:
- Defines key dates/timing issues, in support of the Master Program Schedule.
- Performs semi-complex to complex organizational tasks within project management.
- Primary customer contact for project status during launch phases.
- Keeper of internal and external Open Issues in launch phase.
- Provides regular updates through Status Reports.
- Leads regularly scheduled Team meetings to review Timing, Open Issues, project budget and Status Reports.
- Responsible for working with Process Engineering to ensure all machinery associated with the product launch is working as designed, in place, and capable of producing at required TAKT Time to meet production requirements.
- Drive decisions making process to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Completes and performs other duties/tasks as may be assigned.
- Participate in Engineering Change Request meetings to understand the scope of changes and determine assessment criteria based on the nature of approved changes.
- Work with affected teams to understand the critical actions necessary for successful introduction of new features, capabilities, and products, and ensure those needs will be met ahead of deployment.
- Maintain and communicate project timelines.
- Coordinate and effectively run meetings to resolve issues related to product changes.
You Bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering required.
- 3-5 years in New Manufacturing Launch Project Management.
- Experience in the automotive industry or product design is a must.
- Experience in EV Powertrain (electric motor/ battery) product design/manufacturing.
- Ability to influence outcomes and drive initiatives in complex environments.
- Possesses strong presentation skills and communicates clearly and professionally at various levels both inside and outside the company.
- Working knowledge of Catia.
- Possess knowledge and experience across multiple functions within product design and manufacturing.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
