Form of workThe selected candidate will be in charge of setting up and operating the laser. This included loading/unloading material and changing tooling. Inspecting and maintaining equipment for compliance with safety requirements. Corrects any safety issues prior to performing operations. Inspects parts per work in process inspection procedure and ensures they meet engineering specifications. Resolves quality and mechanical problems, making minor repairs and equipment adjustments as needed. Prioritizes production to ensure that customer orders are completed in a timely manner. Maximizes machine run time and productivity and maintains machine and tooling. Replaces nozzles and lens as required to ensure safe machine operation. Works from blueprints, engineering specifications and production schedules.
TRAINING PROVIDED FOR OPERATING A LASER
Qualifications:
Ability to work in high paced environment
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Position requires ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
Position may require bending, kneeling and stooping
Previous experience working in metal manufacturing industry is preferred
Responsible for continually maintaining a clean working environment
Demonstrated punctual and dependable performance
Use proper PPE and follow all safety procedures
