Essential Duties/Responsibilities
As a Laser Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining laser cutting and engraving machines to produce precision parts and designs for various industries. Your primary role will involve setting up, monitoring, and troubleshooting laser equipment, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and producing high-quality products in a timely manner.
The Laser Operator loads and executes programs, changes heads, nozzles, adjusts as needed, loads and execute programs, changes heads, nozzles and adjusts as needed.
Position will work in laser operations, loading, and unloading material, operating the laser machine, counting, completing paperwork, identifying material.
Minimum Qualifications
· Must be at least 18 years old of age.
· High school diploma or GED equivalent.
· Experience with laser or punch operations,
· Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Able to verify the quality of parts using measuring devices such as tape measure, calipers.
- Basic knowledge and skills pertaining to laser operations and production.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with Trumpf Lasers a plus.
· Basic math skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
· Good oral and written skills; able to follow oral and written directions.
· Ability to read and understand measuring devices.
Physical Demands
· Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, and crouch.
· Occasionally must push, pull, move, or lift up to 50 pounds.
· Regularly required reach with hands and arms.

Preferred Job Skills & Qualifications:
- 1+ years of metal manufacturing experience
- Ability to read micrometers and tape measure
- Attention to detail
- Forklift experience
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting 1-50 lbs.
- Pushing & Pulling 1-50 lbs.
- Repetitive use of hands & feet required.
- Able to stand for up to 8 hours during a shift.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
