Location: Tea, SD (Off I-29)
Work Hours: Monday - Thursday 12:30pm to 11:00pm
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour ($1.00 shift differential rate)

Afternoon Shift:
Monday - Thursday 12:30pm to 11:00pm
This position pays a $1.00 shift differential rate over base and any time over 40 hours is paid at time and a half.
Position Summary:
The Fabrication Laser / CNC Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining laser cutting machines and CNC Doosan milling machines.

Responsibilities:

1. Independently set up and operate a variety of metal fabrication machines.
   1. Operate fabrication laser machines to cut materials based on provided specifications.
   2. Operate the CNC Doosan Mill machine to produce precision parts.
   3. Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as needed to ensure quality parts.
   4. Follow standard operating procedures and guidelines to ensure consistency and reliability in production.
2. Load and unload metal materials into the laser and milling machines.
3. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements.
4. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
   1. Adjust machine settings as necessary to maintain product quality.
5. Perform routine maintenance on fabrication laser and the CNC Mill machine.
   1. Troubleshoot and address any issue that may arise during the production process.
   2. Participate in the development and implementation of new fabrication techniques or technologies to elevate productivity and product quality.
6. Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
7. Work closely with the fabrication and production team to maintain open communication and achieve production targets efficiently.
8. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, keeping track of inventory levels and assisting in inventory management as needed.
9. Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Education and Training:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience:

• 4 years of experience in a operating lasers, plasma tables, CNC machines.
• Knowledge of metal fabrication processes and equipment.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.

Note: The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is eligible for a bonus.
