Large Tank Fabrication (1st Shift)

Overview
We are hiring for a Large Tank Fabricator in Athens, GA to perform across departments team functions necessary to accomplish manufacturing department transformer production requirements to ensure customer on time delivery.
Responsibilities

• Setup and operate tank seam weld and tank bottom weld machines.
• Ability to read the pull sheets, properly kit the required accessories, and weld them in the correct locations in a manner that meets quality requirements.
• Use the appropriate fixtures, hand tools and welding equipment in the welding process.
• Use the required personal protective equipment and work in a safe manner to keep from injuring yourself and/or others.
• Meet team production target on a daily basis.
• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Welding equipment, hand tools, mounting and welding fixtures
• Bending, twisting, stooping, and pulling.
• Be able to stand for long periods at a time.
• Heavy lifting required
• Position contingent on passing all applicable fit for duty requirements
