Lawn Doctor is looking for dedicated individuals to provide high-quality, customer-focused lawn care services to join our team as Lawn Care Technicians.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Applying lawn care products such as fertilizers and weed controls with proprietary Lawn Doctor powered equipment
• Assessing and diagnosing problems in customer properties and recommending proper corrective measures or additional custom care work
• Maintaining, cleaning and operating company issued equipment and work truck
• Performing shop work, or other special projects when not working in the field
• Keeping detailed and accurate records of all services performed both in written and electronic form
• Calculating and monitoring product usage on a daily basis
• Providing a customer focused approach to accomplishing daily workload

Lawn Care Technicians treat lawns using various walk behind and ride on equipment with top quality fertilizers and control products, seed lawns, perform shop work, and offer appropriate new services to customers and prospects while in the field. No mowing or landscape maintenance work. We will provide training.

The ideal candidate for this position has :

• Current and unrestricted driver’s license
• Reliable transportation to work
• Enthusiasm for working outdoors and in various weather conditions
• Ability to operate machinery
• Ability to meet production goals
• Be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds
• Pass a drug test and background check.
• High school education
• Willing and able to operate a variety of tools, equipment and vehicles
• Excellent customer service skills
• Able to excel in team environment as well as being self-directed
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Strong work ethic
• Team player
• Willingness to learn new skills
• Positive attitude

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
