Landscaping

We are a local landscaping company located in Anchorage, AK looking for employees for the up and coming season starting May 1-15. We have been in business for 10 years. Most of the work we do is in Anchorage but we also perform in Eagle River and the Valley. We focus on landscaping, excavation and lawn maintenance. We do everything from retaining walls, to foundations, to install lawns and plants, to building paver patios, mowing and trimming lawns etc.

The person we are looking for must have some experience in landscaping, excavation and/or lawn maintenance. The candidate will be working on his feet 8-10 hours a day and will need prior labor experience. The candidate will need to be attentive to detail and able to take direction. We have a few customers that we are on call with that may require the candidate to work after hours. This may come up once every 2 months.

Knowledge And Requirements for job:

* Must Have transportation to work daily

* Positive attitude, dependable, hardworking, honest and neat in appearance.

* Strong work ethic, self motivated, ability to take constructive criticism and correction.

* Knowledge and skill of installing plants, trees, edging, pavers and retaining walls preferred.

* Ability to work well as a team.

* Focused on safety of yourself and the team you are working with.

* Good driving record

* Available on call if needed (This is not very often but it does come up)

*Ability to lift more than 75 pounds

*Must be able to pass drug test ( heroin, cocaine, amphetamines, opiates, phencyclidine)

* You must be able to follow direction and interact with coworkers and clients in a professional, respectful manner.

Pay: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour
