Metropolitan Forestry Services Inc. is hiring FULL TIME employees for YEAR ROUND work.

Landscape Laborer

Position Requirements:

• Load and unload material between jobs.
• Install plant material (annuals, perennials, shrubs, and trees), mulch, light hardscaping, etc. as required and according to industry standards.
• Maintain planting beds including shrub trimming, ornamental pruning, weeding, edging, transplanting, amending soil, and mulching.
• Operate various equipment and machinery (ex. sod cutter, chainsaw, stump-grinder, skid-steer, weed eater, pole pruners).
• Ability to drive large, standard transmission trucks.
• If you are lacking in any of the above skills, we offer training so you can meet our standards of excellence.

Landscape Foreman

Position Requirements:

• Competency with the requirements listed above.
• At least 5 years of hands-on landscaping experience.
• At least 2 years of crew leadership experience.
• Skills must include: ornamental and shrub trimming, light hardscaping, plant ID, common landscape pest and disease knowledge.
• Familiarity with above and below ground utilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Compensation is based on experience.

Pay: $19.05 - $22.94 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
