Job Summary
Irrigation Technician
We are expanding our irrigation team.
- Must be able to solve irrigation issues and provide material list to estimate new installations.
- Must be able to properly communicate issues (written and verbal) to maintenance client coordinator and maintenance supervisor.
- Full time work year round. This is not part time or temporary, Our techs stay very busy with just the current workload and we keep adding new properties every week.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Troubleshoot and repair the following:
- Irrigation & Low Voltage. Clocks, Valves, Lighting timers, Wirings diagnostics.
- Troubleshoot Solenoid problems.
- Set and repair Irrigation Timers.
- Diagnose and repair Valve failures and leaks.
- Water flow measurement to zones.
- Soldering copper and installation of backflow preventers.
- Pay close attention to detail and thoroughly complete each job.
- Use testing tools to locate and identify the problem whether it is within the electrical or plumbing area of the irrigation system.
- The job involves locating and repairing leaks. Digging will be required.
Qualifications and Skills
- 3+ years of of Irrigation Technician Experience in Residential or Commercial landscape industry. Foreman and Installation experience also qualifies.
- Comfortable using a Iphone to process work orders.
- The ability to work well independently and as a team. We have a very large construction division and the tech will vary between new installs and repairs to existing maintenance clients.
- Customer service background and focus.
- Must have valid driver's license and clean record. Company provided van and trailer.
- Bilingual (spanish/english) preferred but not required.
