WHAT TO EXPECT DAY-TO-DAY:
Provides landscape and site design services in support of Land Development projects as part of a project team;
Conducts technical evaluations (Local, State & Federal Design Standards and Regulations, etc.) for projects;
Prepares design computations and assessments;
Provides production of detailed and accurate design/construction drawings according to project scope;
Communicates and coordinates technical evaluations, designs, reports and correspondence with Project Manager and design team to complete work efficiently;
Responsible for completing design tasks within budget and on schedule; and Reports directly to the Project Manager.
Skills/Requirements of a successful candidate include:
WHAT YOU NEED:
BS Degree in Landscape Architecture or equivalent experience and training in a similar field;
1-3 years of professional design experience preferred;
Process-oriented individual with strong organization and technical skills;
Solid communicator, willing to ask questions, take and understand directives from PM and coordinate efforts with design team;
Able to complete work consistently, with ability to assist on multiple projects & tasks;
Strong graphic, writing and verbal skills;
Ability to produce hand graphics and sketches preferred;
Plant, grading, and drainage knowledge for landscape plans;
Experience with Microsoft Office;
Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD 2016 or greater and capable of learning other design software programs as required;
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT:
Experience with design of Land Development projects
Photoshop, ArcGIS, or Land FX experience and Portfolio or work samples (during the interview process)
