Join our team as a Landscape Crew Leader and play a pivotal role in managing and directing a team of 2 to 10 service workers. Our company, Phoenix Landscape, is a leader in the landscaping industry, known for our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. As a Crew Leader, you will ensure efficient use of resources, develop personnel, and meet client needs and expectations. You will also be responsible for safety, minimizing days lost due to accidents, and managing equipment and property damage.
Responsibilities- Manage daily maintenance route and ensure all vehicles are in safe operating order.
- Oversee accurate clock-in times and manage the completion of daily or weekly reports.
- Train team members in the operation of equipment and tools, and enforce safety standards.
- Address and minimize equipment emergencies, breakdowns, and incidents related to staff and customer property.
- Communicate and document any repair and replacement requirements on equipment/tools.
- Conduct minor repairs to tools and equipment as needed.
- Plan, schedule, and supervise daily activities for assigned Service Workers.
- Maintain a professional appearance and arrive to work at the scheduled time.
- Support the mission, goals, and strategies of Yardnique.
- Two-year experience as a Lead Man in landscape or maintenance preferred.
- Basic knowledge of standard landscape horticultural practices.
- Beginning knowledge of hardscape and irrigation concepts.
- Basic English language skills. Basic Spanish preferred.
- Good organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Valid State Drivers License. CDL preferred.
- Studying for the Pesticide Trainee License.
