Entry - Level – Landscape Architecture & Planning

The Landscape Architecture and Planning team at GBA is looking for highly motivated, goal-oriented individuals, who are interested in learning new skills to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative team environment focused on meaningful design on a variety of public and private projects ranging from open space and parks to net-zero community planning to public engagement, visioning, and design charettes. You will be integrated into a studio environment alongside architects, engineers, and surveyors where you will be immersed in hands-on design and construction observation ranging from streetscapes and parks to green solutions and large-scale developments. This opportunity is available out of the Lenexa, KS headquarters office. We encourage driven and creative individuals to apply today!

Requirements:

Graduate of a Landscape Architecture or Urban Design accredited program.

Experience with Civil3D, Rhino, and Enscape is preferred.

Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

Demonstrates fundamental design skills with detailed attention to urban planning, detailing, CAD drafting, red line corrections, with direction from more experienced staff.
