Landscape Architect/Designer

Gail Hartz + Associates is looking to hire an Entry Level to Intermediate Landscape Architect or Designer immediately! We are a high-end residential design/build landscape company that has been working in the Houston area over 20 years and services clients in River Oaks, Bellaire, West University, etc. Ideal candidates are talented, creative designers with excellent selling and communication skills. Strong design proficiency and the ability to transform idea to concept is essential.

Our company offers paid time off and up to two weeks paid vacation for the Christmas and New Year’s Holidays.

Skills: 

- Design plans using AutoCAD or rendering design by hand 
- Read architectural drawings and site surveys accurately
- Have basic plant knowledge 
- Convert site measurements to a scaled drawing correctly
- Work well in group settings and be a team player
- Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
- Customer relationship management practices with the ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to client needs.
- Be willing to be flexible and trained in new skills such as generating cost estimates, proposals and taking site measurements.
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Be willing to agree to a background check
 
Job Type: Full Time 

Required Experience: 

- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college
- Landscape design experience    
- Proficient in Auto CAD
- Sound understanding and ability to create innovative designs
