Job description

Provide support to the Southern Regional Real Estate business unit. Assist Real Estate Managers and Property Specialist in preparation of land sale contracts. Notify hunting clubs when land is sold and manage the process of refunding hunting license fees. Support Real Estate and Timberland Foresters on boundary or legal description issues. Assist with deed searches, legal descriptions and exhibits for contracts. Collect, assemble, maintain and disseminate PotlatchDeltic real estate information in support of land dispositions, timberland acquisitions, exchanges, easements, leases and minerals.
The salary range for this position is $60,567.86-$100,946.44. This position is bonus eligible, with a target value of 10% of salary.
Land Transactions
  • Support the Southern Region in meeting annual Real Estate goals.

  • Assist Property Specialist with land sale process including deed searches and legal descriptions for contracts.

  • Tracking of surveys needed for land sale transactions.
  • Support Real Estate division and Timberlands division with various land use needs.

Easements & Leases
  • Handle requests for access and utility easements, surface leases, tower leases and misc. leases.
  • Work with requesting party, foresters and attorneys on easements requests.
  • Send requests to Timberland and Real Estate divisions for review and approval.
  • Tracking and reporting of Surface Leases - cell, tv and radio towers, AR forestry sites and other misc. leases.

Real Estate Administration
  • Process invoices, set up new vendors as needed and prepare invoices for easements and leases.
  • Prepare Tax report for each land sale and send monthly report to internal Tax department.
  • Hunting License terminations and refunding of fees to hunting clubs.
  • Assist with Salesforce, including adding new properties into the system.
  • Assist with Broker Agreements and Addendums.
  • Assist with IP Release procedure.
  • Assist Property Specialist with data management of real estate records.

Requirements:
  • AA/AS degree in business, forestry management or related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience with real estate, transactions including purchase and sale agreements, title reports, closing documents and legal access issues.
  • Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to read, understand and write property legal descriptions.
  • Technical understanding of property survey methodology, survey plats and maps of various types.
  • Ability to complete complex critical projects under demanding time schedules in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral, written, interpersonal, organization).
  • Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Proficiency in ArcMap and other GIS tools.
  • Valid driver's license.
