Lancaster Bowling Center Shift Lead

BASIC FUNCTION: Oversees the basic functions of the Lancaster Bowling Center. Directs activities of workers engaged in providing services to patrons and in maintaining facilities and equipment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assist in the supervision, operation, and maintenance of a 12-lane bowling facility.

- Assists with facility management in submitting work orders, managing staff, and ensuring facility cleanliness and compliance with COVID procedures.

- Ensures accountability and control for all supplies, equipment, and inventory.

- Assists in the manning, orientation, and training of employees.

- Handles customer complaints.

- Has sole management responsibility during operating hours.

QUALIFICATIONS: Prefer management or supervisory experience in a bowling facility, working knowledge of automated bowling equipment maintenance, and bowling as a hobby or recreational activity a must. Experience demonstrating the ability to manage a fund-generating, revenue-producing, or self-sufficient operation is required. Must possess good leadership skills coupled with excellent customer service skills and the ability to grow a business. The position is a position of Trust. Must satisfactorily complete a Background and Drug test.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: You will report to Christian Services Director, Eric Kramer, and work closely with other Shift Leads. You will work with the Event Coordinator to ensure exemplary events, outings, and parties.

SCHEDULE: This is primarily a weekend job. Operating hours are mostly evenings from 3:30 pmto 9:30 pm or 11 pm on Thursdays through Saturdays. Sunday afternoons from 12:30 to 6:30 pm. When special events or parties are scheduled, other hours are required. If you can’t work these days and times DO NOT Apply!

STATUS: Full-time is 30 to 40 hours and Part-time is 12 to 18 hours. The pay is $16.50 to $18.50 per hour.
