Ladder Assist Technician

Knight's Solutions is looking for independent contractors to add to our Ladder Assist Technicians team in multiple locations across the country. Technicians provide on-site home inspections when an insured files a property claim through their insurance policy. In this role, you will be responsible for documenting, photographing, and measuring and identifying any storm damaged items, in the field, to provide accurate settlement of losses for adjusters.

We are looking for candidates who possess excellent organizational skills, time management skills, are punctual and have strong written and verbal communication skills.

The ideal candidate should have the following requirements:

• Ladder
• Fall Protection (Goat/Ridge Pro)
• Hand Tools
• Cougar Paws
• Chalk
• Reliable transportation
• Smartphone (with internet access)
• iPad or Laptop
• Strong communication skills
• Time management skills
• Proficiency with computer/tablet/phone apps
• Customer service skills

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting residential and commercial field inspections using smartphone cameras and applications.
• Investigating claims by communicating with insured, contractors, and adjusters to determine the nature and cause of the loss.
• Accurately assessing and reporting damages to assigned adjusters, explaining the cause and severity of a loss.
• Providing evidence to support the damage/no damage found during the inspection.
• Reviewing photo documentation and completing a roof assessment form to survey the overall condition of the property.
