Lacrosse Coach
Heathwood Episcopal Hall School seeks candidates for Lacrosse coaching. This listing outlines the details for TWO assist coaches and ONE Head coach for 5th and 6th grades. These are part-time, seasonal positions. The role of the Lacrosse coach is to teach the team the fundamentals of lacrosse, encourage a love for the game, promote school spirit, and to support the program with a culture encompassing mental and physical growth, team unity, healthy competition and an overall enjoyable experience for all.
Previous experience coaching Lacrosse skills and technique is preferred. Responsibilities of the successful candidates will include the following:
- Promote positive teamwork and positive interactions amongst

- Manage fan involvement at games and pep
- Take direction and leadership from the Associate Director of Athletics and Head Lacrosse coaches.
- Attend games at home and all region away
- Manage the distribution and collection of all equipment, supplies, and
- Send weekly communication home to athletes and parents to inform them of the week's schedule, including practice and game logistics (ex: travel, timing, meals, etc.)
Heathwood Hall Middle School Assistant Lacrosse Coach
The Assistant Middle School Lacrosse Coach will assist in coaching grades 6-8. Heathwood Hall is seeking an energetic, knowledgeable and positive coach for the HHES middle school lacrosse program. Practices and drills should focus on skill development and team play. The assistant coach will work together with the Middle School Head Coach to develop practice and game strategies. The Middle School Staff will have the aid and support of the varsity staff. The 2024 season runs from the last week of January through the end of April. College and/or high school playing/coaching experience preferred.
Heathwood Hall Varsity Assistant Lacrosse Coach
The Assistant Varsity Lacrosse Coach will assist in coaching grades 9-12. Heathwood Hall is seeking an energetic, knowledgeable and positive assistant coach for the HHES varsity lacrosse program. The assistant coach will work together with the Varsity Head Coach to develop practice and game strategies. The 2024 season runs from the last week of January through the end of April. College and/or high school playing/coaching experience preferred.
Heathwood Hall Head 5th & 6th Grade Lacrosse Coach
The Head 5th & 6th Grade Lacrosse Coach will be responsible for coaching lacrosse for grades 5-6. Heathwood Hall is seeking an energetic and positive coach, that will help develop a love for the game of lacrosse. The 5th & 6th grade team practices twice a week and competes on Saturday mornings in the Lexington Youth Lacrosse League. The league consists of approximately 6-7 weekends, 2 games per day.
