Principal Labware LIMS Consultant
Job Type: Consulting (Project-Based)
We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Labware LIMS Consultant to join our consulting team for a project-based assignment. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in implementing and validating an enterprise-level global Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for life sciences. Your expertise in Labware LIMS and your ability to lead and guide project teams are essential to the success of this critical initiative.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the implementation and validation of an enterprise-level global LIMS system for life sciences, ensuring it aligns with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing expert guidance and project leadership to ensure the successful deployment of the Labware LIMS solution.
- Analyze and document business requirements, and translate them into LIMS configuration and validation specifications.
- Oversee the development, configuration, and testing of the LIMS system, ensuring that it meets the specific needs of the enterprise life sciences company.
- Lead validation activities, including test planning, execution, and documentation, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Mentor and guide junior consultants and project team members to build their expertise in Labware LIMS and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience as a Labware LIMS consultant, with a focus on implementing and validating LIMS systems within the life sciences sector.
- Proven expertise in deploying enterprise-level global LIMS solutions.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory operations, GMP, and regulatory compliance within the life sciences industry.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and guide project teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members to excel in Labware LIMS projects.

Pay Range: $65 - $85 / hour pay range is an estimate of pay for project-based employment. We recognize that talent is key to our success as a company, and aim for the most competitive compensation to ensure we are able to attract the best candidates. The quoted pay range represents our best estimate of what our ideal candidate is likely to expect, based on experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and interpersonal skills. Range varies based on knowledge and experience.
