Delaware County Solid Waste Authority is seeking a Full-Time Laborer/Weighmaster to work at the two Transfer Stations. This position is primarily responsible for the maintenance of the facility, which includes lawn care, weeding, litter pick up, painting, and snow removal. Tasks for facility maintenance will be directed by management to prioritize the work of maintenance of the facility while also assisting with extra workload and covering absences or vacations in the role of Weighmaster.

The duties of Weighmaster include electronic truck scale operation via computer control, report production, monitoring vehicles and personnel entering and exiting the facility, and directing customers to appropriate destinations.

Additional requirements include:

· Valid PA Driver’s License

· Ability to lift 50 pounds

· Ability to operate lawncare equipment and shovel snow

· Ability to record and maintain accurate weight tickets.

Hours for the position are Monday – Friday 7:00am – 4:30pm

Starting between $16.00 and $22.00 per hour based on experience
