Laborer/Operator

Job Overview:

The Laborer/Operator will perform a wide range of physical labor tasks and operate various types of equipment to support completion of projects.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members to coordinate work activities and ensure smooth operations.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Fuel, detail, and grease equipment.
• Use various tools such as lasers and grade sticks, shovels, rakes, etc.
• Safely and efficiently operate a wide variety of equipment including bulldozers, skid loaders, water trucks, articulated and dump trucks, loaders, compactors, pumps, etc.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment.
• Observe hand signals, grade stakes, and markings when operating machines.
• Move material on job site or to and from gravel pit/s.
• Excavate and backfill excavations.
• Compact and level earth to grade specifications.
• Pour concrete or other hard surface pavement.
• Daily cleanup.
• Keep accurate time through time tracking app.

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred)

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
