A $300 weekly winter stipend will be available for snow plowing on
top of regular earnings and any overtime!
There are five open positions to fill. Three positions are within our
Highway & Utilities Division and two shared positions are between our
department and Concord Parks & Recreation's Cemetery Division.
Work involves laboring and operating dump trucks and other
equipment involving the construction and maintenance of City streets,
sidewalks, drainage, and water and sanitary sewer systems. This
position also includes winter snow plowing of public roadways and
sidewalks.
Shared positions include maintenance of cemeteries in the spring
through fall and snow plowing in the winter.
Availability after-hours for emergencies is critical with overtime
required. A CDL-B with air brake endorsement is required or must
be obtained within six months of hire.

TYPICAL WORK SHIFT/SCHEDULE: Days, Monday thru Friday, Overtime is a requirement.
STARTING SALARY RANGE: $21.74 - $25.20 hourly. Top of pay scale is $29.20

Performs work involving laboring and operating dump trucks, and other moderately complex construction equipment involving the construction, repairing, cleaning, and maintenance of City streets, sidewalks, water, drain, sewer systems, cemetery, parks, trees; Performs traffic control duties; performs minor repairs and maintenance on equipment; May be required to operate truck and trailer to move equipment from one job site to another. Requires overtime.
