Job Summary
Full time Laboratory Technician position in a drinking water testing laboratory serving public water systems and residential clients. Opportunity in the inorganic laboratory exist for the right candidate.
Responsibilities and Duties
The successful candidate will perform a variety of tests for regulated and nonregulated contaminants in drinking water such as bacteria, anions via ion chromatography, alkalinity, pH, turbidity, and conductivity.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience in a laboratory environment is preferred however training is available for the right candidate. A Bachelors Degree in Chemistry is strongly preferred, Life Sciences degrees will also be considered. A strong aptitude for science with the ability to multitask, attention to detail, and good teamwork skills are essential.
