Pay Info: Eligible for new hire sign-on bonus! Laboratory Assistant $16.00-23.00; Senior Laboratory Assistant $17.00-23.50; Pathology Technician $22.50-33.00

Department Details

This position is a day float with an every third weekend obligation. Weekend hours will be 1p to 9:30pm every third weekend. This position can also be a senior lab tech or pathology tech with the same hours. Duties include specimen collection and phlebotomy and other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Responsibilities include phlebotomy, collecting, preparing and processing specimens biological specimens. Assists in performing laboratory activities and other assigned tasks. Aids in preparing laboratory specimens and supplies. May be responsible for entering laboratory orders and results. Ensures the accuracy and quality of laboratory data in a safe and professional work environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) required.

Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred. May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
