EMPLOYEE RELATIONS SPECIALIST (HIGHER EDUCATION)
Location: Los Angeles, Zip: 90007, remote or hybrid-2-3x, MUST be local to Los Angeles, CA
Pay Rate: $40-$50/ HR
3 Months W2, Full-Time Position, Possible extension and conversion

What you’ll do:
- Investigate Employee Relations concerns and workplace issues with a focus on thoroughness, timeliness, and impartiality.
- Provide strategic guidance and coaching to managers on employee performance management and best practices.
- Partner with HR leaders to identify trends in Employee Relations and develop proactive solutions.
- Conduct data analysis and reporting to identify areas for improvement and inform strategic decision-making.
- Develop and deliver training programs on Employee Relations topics for managers and staff.
- Uphold the highest ethical standards and ensure legal compliance in all Employee Relations matters.
Must-Haves:
- 5+ years of experience in HR, behavioral science, or organizational psychology.
- Strong background in Employee Relations and HR investigations.
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex, confidential employee matters with integrity and discretion.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Experience working effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience in higher education and/or employment law.
- Knowledge of best practices for unbiased investigations.
- Experience developing and delivering HR training programs.
- Policy development experience.
