Job Summary
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None
Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions
• Preparing equipment and materials for customer tests
• Performing qualitative and quantitative analyses on samples of materials
• Collecting data and documenting results
• Producing test reports
• Communicating with internal team and external customers
• Maintaining, calibrating and sterilizing laboratory instruments
• Recording data
• Assists in developing standard processes, procedures, and documentation to facilitate efficient test lab operation.
• Assisting in ordering and organizing supplies
• Overtime as required
• Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities/Traits
- Familiarity with current commercial software applications (Excel, Word).
- General understanding of PCs and related software experience
- Sound communication, organizational and analytical skills with the ability to plan work
- Basic recording videos and editing
- Demonstrates sufficient math skills to perform calculations associated with lab testing.
- Good organizational
- Familiarity 5S methodology
- Any other duties as assigned.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks
- Demonstrated troubleshooting skills
- Accurate record-keeping skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time
- Mechanical aptitude - setting up machines
- Continuous improvement
