Requirements for consideration:
Minimum Education:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Years of Experience:
- 1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory environment or as a phlebotomist
Job Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively and work cooperatively with others to optimize job performance and foster working relationships.
- To help achieve our mission, you will ensure accurate specimen processing to maintain specimen integrity and verify product and/or test components when processing.
- Managing specimen accessioning accurately and efficiently to provide quality specimens for Laboratory testing is of vital importance.
- Performing proper specimen collection by confirming patient identification, collecting specimens in proper tubes, utilizing venipuncture/capillary techniques and accurately labeling the specimens to ensure accurate patient results is required. Other duties as assigned.
