Bottle Wash Technicians are key members of the team who support the field employees located throughout the Northeast and mid-Atlantic region. Field employees take individual milk samples at dairy farms which are analyzed at our laboratory. The vials from the milk samples are then washed, boxed and sent back out for use.
The Bottlewash technicians are key members of the team who keep the system moving. They clean these used milk vials to be repurposed and sent back out to the field staff. It is a critical role that is important to the success of several other departments.
Duties include: dumping milk samples, running a commercial dishwasher, washing boxes and pipetting preservative following standard operating procedures to ensure quality. The job requires the ability to work in a team setting, spend many hours on your feet, and at a fast pace. Strict adherence to established procedure and safety standards is required. All employees are expected to demonstrate behaviors that reflect Dairy One values of integrity, positivity, commitment, professionalism and innovation.
Compensation: $17-$22 an hour
Requirements
- Graduation from high school or possession of a general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
- Ability to read, write, and follow verbal instructions.
- Dependable transportation.
