Teach chemistry courses to undergraduate students in A.S. and A.A.S. degree programs beginning fall semester, 2024. Curriculum development and instruction, outcomes assessment, institutional committee work, program promotion, distance delivery of coursework, and community service and outreach are inherent to the position.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Master’s degree with 18 graduate credits in chemistry or closely related discipline. Successful teaching experience at the secondary or college level or equivalent professional experience. We are willing to consider applicants without a specific master’s in chemistry and are willing to consider tested experience.
QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED: Master’s degree in chemistry or closely related field, two or more years of teaching experience, and experience with a Learning Management System.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Successful applicant will be required to pass a criminal history background investigation prior to employment.
SALARY: $45,000-$50,000, based on degree and experience. NDUS state benefit package, including 100% full coverage for family health insurance - provided by employer.
