Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests and procedures according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Prepare and analyze samples using various laboratory techniques such as CT, PCR, ELISA, Flow, and other assays
- Maintain accurate records of all tests performed and results obtained
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
- Assist in the development and validation of new laboratory procedures
- Handle and process biological specimens, including phlebotomizing patients if required
- Utilize Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) to track samples and record data accurately
Skills:
- Proficiency in laboratory procedures and techniques, including CT, PCR, ELISA, Flow, and other assays
- Strong knowledge of physiology and medical terminology
- Attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs accurately
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) is a plus
