Form of work- POSITION SUMMARY
The Laboratory Assistant II will coordinate and perform tasks and activities in several areas of the clinical laboratory. Specific tasks and responsibilities may be assigned and scheduled, rotating functions throughout the group. In addition to routine phlebotomy duties, the Laboratory Assistant II will be responsible for specimen processing, send-outs processing, inventory control, training, various microbiology tasks, and other tasks as defined.
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses and Certifications Required
- Phlebotomy Certification or Lab Assistant Certification; certification must be maintained
- Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience Requirements
- 1 year phlebotomy or Lab Assistant experience required
- Special Skills or Training Requirements
