Form of workMCCH seeks a Laboratory Assistant for the Laboratory department. This position is Full Time and is eligible for excellent benefits. The hours will be working days 0800-1630, M-F and rotating weekends.

Job Description:
Under the supervision of the MCCH Laboratory technical staff, performs specimen collection procedures, point of care testing, and other duties as assigned per laboratory policy. The position reports to the Laboratory Director through the MCCH Laboratory technical staff. The Lab Assistant also maintains cooperative working relationships with intradepartmental and interdepartmental personnel.
Minimum Work Experience:
- Minimum 6 months experience in a related healthcare setting will be acceptable in lieu of college coursework. Phlebotomy experience strongly preferred.
Minimum Education:
- High School diploma required. Current enrollment or completed degree in science/healthcare course study required.
