Konica Operator (Hand Fulfillment), 2nd shift/3p-11p

Responsible for the setup, adjustment and operation of the Konica machines to provide a product which meets customer quality and time requirements while meeting company profitability requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Read and follow job ticket / runlist instructions and follow the sign-off / continuity procedure.
• Setup, operate and maintain the Konica.
• Follow all established processes associated with the operation of the Konica.
• Demonstrate leadership in working with Helpers, temps and other operators.
• Strong ability to make decisions, render judgment and take action.
• Inform Shift Leader and show ability to order supplies or parts when needed.
• Communicate with next shift about status of job(s) and any special instructions through the use of the hour by hour books that should be filled out thoroughly and TPM checklists to show equipment condition.
• Run the machine through cross-over whenever you come into a machine that has been running.
• Complete paperwork and use timekeeping system efficiently.
• Demonstrated high quality and quantity standards on a consistent basis.
• Attend and participate in the Month Cost Center meetings.
• Maintain a clean and organized area/department.
• Be cooperative, positive and respectful with leaders, coworkers and team.
• Ensure all safety policies are followed and hold a high regard for the safety of others.
• Aggressively seek out opportunities for company and self-improvement and cross train on other equipment whenever tim permits.
• Responsible for informing Shift Leader of any concerns that arise.
• Follow the Help Chain protocol to minimize downtime on the machine you are running.
• Participate and support continuous improvement activities.
• Participate in 6S/Lean manufacturing initiative.
• Work in other areas as needed.
