Knoxville Field Technician (Packer & Mover)

1-800-Packouts is a disaster service company. When someone has a house fire, flood, or water damage we go into their home inventory and remove the contents. We wrap & pack people’s belongings and store and/or clean them. The customers we deal with have gone through a disaster and we help pick up the pieces of their lives.

Requirements:

Field Technician's Key Responsibilities:

Packing and Moving:

• Assist in packing household and personal items securely and efficiently using appropriate packing materials and techniques.
• Load and unload belongings into/from trucks, ensuring proper handling and safe transportation.
• Be good stewards of supplies and equipment used to pack and move on job sites.
• Be efficient in your time management.

Inventory Management:

• Assist Senior Technicians and Team Leads to maintain accurate inventory records of items being packed out.

Storage:

• Assist in organizing and maintaining storage facilities to ensure easy access, proper placement, and movement of clients' belongings, supplies and equipment.

Customer Service:

• Interact with clients in a courteous and professional manner.

Health and Safety:

• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.
• Use proper lifting techniques and follow safety practices while handling heavy or fragile items.

Team Collaboration:

• Collaborates with all other team members to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.

Field Technician's Requirements for Employment:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Physical fitness
• Ability to lift heavy objects = 50 lbs and/or to work with your hands packing delicate items
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Willingness to work flexible hoursf
• Valid driver's license
• 21 years old or older
• Pass a background check
• Pass a drug test
• Ability to work overtime
