· Responsible for training Lead Mechanics, Line Mechanics, and Knitting technicians across all shifts.
· Responsible for implementing an improved and efficient sampling and product development process balancing quality and speed to market.
· Works directly with plant leadership to develop and execute projects involving continuous improvement, upgrades, and the resolution of re-occurring problems.
· Troubleshoot and repair knitting machines that can’t be repaired by Lead/Line Mechanics.
· Inspect the quality of socks after machine repairs are performed.
· Maintain documents of repair and maintenance activities.
· Lead preventative maintenance schedule for all knitting machines.
· Help evaluate potential knitting team new hires.
