Position Overview:
The Kitchen Utility Worker is responsible for the overall appearance of the kitchen.
Essential Job Functions:
Kitchen Utility Workers are to follow the instructions of the manager at the facility they work at. The responsibilities of the Kitchen Utility Worker will include keeping the kitchen supplies and equipment clean and maintained to exceed client and guest expectations. The Kitchen Utility Worker will work inside the kitchen of the assigned location sweeping, mopping, dishwashing, and storing away products as needed . Keeping the dish room clean and organized. Kitchen Utility Workers may need to communicate with the Concessions Utility Worker to assist in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of assigned work areas. Kitchen Utility Workers need to adhere to all Health Department sanitation and safety regulations as required.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years of age*
- Must have a valid Food Handler Card on file with and in your possession for each event
- Must have a H.S. Diploma/G.E.D. or currently enrolled in H.S.
- Must complete all pre-employment forms
- Must successfully and pass a background check
- Must be able to deep clean kitchen equipment, pans, boards, trays in accordance to Loveland Living Aquarium standards.
- Operate and maintain various machines as such as dish washing machines, garbage disposals, and sinks
- Must be able to work with a group as well as independently
Other Skills/Abilities
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach in confined spaces
- Ability to be on feet for long periods of time - up to four (4) hours in length
- Ability to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work in extreme temperature fluctuations and around excessive noise
