Qualifications

• Cooking experience or Back of the House experience preferred
• Experience with pizza making is a plus
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Chop vegetables, slice meats and cheeses, prepare sauces, dressings, and other food preparation.
• Cook menu items
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food
• Stock inventory
• Able to meet all scheduling commitments
• Able to anticipate needs of others in the kitchen and proactively work to meet those needs
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable transportation
• Oregon Food Handlers permit, and an OLCC Alcohol Server's permit

Job Description

Kobold Brewing - The Lair, in downtown Bend, Oregon, has immediate openings for full and part time Kitchen Staff. We are a small group of family and friends with a desire to bring great beer and food to the community. As a small operation, we are looking for a candidate who can work alongside us to bring quality food to the community. Our ideal candidate is energetic, knowledgeable in food service, and takes pride in their food quality, customer service, and teamwork skills.

The job involves food prep/cooking specifically for sandwiches, pizzas, and french fries. Employees will be responsible for food running as well as all other opening and closing duties. Candidates must be flexible with daytime and evening shifts and be able to work weekends. You will need reliable transportation, an Oregon Food Handlers permit, and an OLCC Alcohol Server's permit.

Pay and benefits include: $17-19/hr. Plus tips daily, a free shift meal, a free shift drink after clock out (+21 or older), and an employee discount.

We will train the right motivated people if their experience in food service is limited. We take pride in our attention to detail and serving quality food and will expect candidates to uphold those same standards.
