Kitchen Repair Technician

Job Summary

Execute a diverse range of technical tasks encompassing the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial kitchen equipment. Address issues with various kitchen appliances such as ovens, stoves, griddles, and an extensive assortment of commercial refrigerator units. Deliver exemplary customer service while ensuring prompt and effective solutions to equipment malfunctions.

Essential Functions

• Conduct troubleshooting and repairs on commercial kitchen equipment.
• Maintain superior levels of service quality throughout all interactions.
• Meet or exceed company-established productivity targets and objectives.
• Innovate solutions to optimize service delivery and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Manage inventory and stock in accordance with organizational guidelines.
• Research and source parts within budget guidelines and maintenance needs
• Adhere to maintenance schedules and uphold cleanliness and organization in workspaces

Job Requirements

• Exceptional organizational skills
• HVAC certified

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities
• Collaborative team player with over 2 years of experience in servicing and repairing commercial kitchen equipment
• Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques for commercial kitchen equipment
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a clean record
• Successful completion of pre-employment background screening

$26+/hr DOE

• Full-Time employees are offered these benefits first of the month following 60 days of employment
• Must maintain a minimum of 30 hours per week or more.
• Variable-hour team members could be eligible 12 months after their date of hire, with supervisor approval, so long as they have averaged 30+ hours per week throughout their first year.

401K Plan:

• Team members are eligible to participate at the age of 21 or greater and at the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment.
• 2% match with a 4% contribution from the team member.

PTO:

• 6 months gets 7 PTO days - 728 hours (average 28 hours per week)
• 1 year gets 10 PTO days - 1,456 hours (average 28 hours per week)
• 2-4 years gets 15 PTO days - 1,456 hours (average 28 hours per week)
• 5+ years gets 20 PTO days - 1,200 hours (average 23 hours per week)

Holiday Pay:

• Hourly team members who work on Thanksgiving and Christmas will be paid their wage at time and a half.
