Using skills and professionalism to efficiently manage all aspects of the kitchen/dining experience with a wide breadth of responsibilities including but not limited to; ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety regulations, workflow of all aspects of food preparation, ordering food and overseeing food deliveries, managing inventory and food storage standards. Manage and supervise students during lab courses an food preparation. Responsible for teaching students about general food knowledge, culinary terminology, basic food preparation, as well as bakery production.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local food handling standards, and requirements.
- Store food products in compliance with health and safety practices.
- Monitor kitchen, dining room, bar, and kiosk operations to ensure compliance with health and fire department regulations.
- Cleaning/organizing and upholding all sanitation and safety standards in kitchen, dining room, bar, and kiosk.
- Establish relationships with vendors.
- Monitor inventory levels and perform weekly inventory assessments. Order equipment, materials, supplies, linen, food, and beverage as needed for the kitchen, dining room and kiosk.
- Work with faculty/staff to excel lab courses and the HTM program.
- Manage and supervise students during lab courses an food preparation. Responsible for teaching students about general food knowledge, culinary terminology, basic food preparation, as well as bakery production.
- Managing Internal and external special events.
- Anticipate, identify, and correct any/all issues with inventory and systems.
- Place work orders for all equipment/work areas as needed.
- Complete organize, and file related paperwork.
- Manage and secure POS system and HTM Change Fund.
- Ensuring each POS system is updated regularly.

- Bachelor's Degree and ServSafe or current food handler's care certification as required by federal/state/local law
