Summary of Position:
Kitchen workers have the extremely important job of preparing the food that keeps our guests coming back. Each cook's primary objective is to ensure a guest's 100% satisfaction with our product. It is expected that cooks will contribute to this goal by using speed and efficiency for every task in the kitchen. Consistency and training development will be imperative to the smooth operation of the kitchen.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Be able to learn all stations in the kitchen efficiently (Slap, Pizza Line, Pasta station, Expo and Dish)
- Know and comply consistently with Rotolo's standard portion sizes, cooking methods, prep methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures.
- Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period.
- Handle, store, and rotate all products properly.
- Assist in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed.
- Maintain a good working relationship with all fellow employees.
- Follow all safe food handling practices.
Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests.
Must have a basic knowledge of kitchen procedures and functions.
- Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver up to 50lbs of product.
In Order to get the amount of hours to make this job worth while, You will have to have open availability, being able to work doubles which would include 9a.m to 2p.m. and then again from 4p.m. to close at least a few nights a week.
