Job Description
The Kitchen Inside Sales Representative will create functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing spaces by assessing space requirements, determining optimal furniture placement, and selecting decorative items, all while adhering to relevant blueprints, building codes, and inspection requirements.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Meet potential clients and gather information about their needs
  • Interacts with customers via telephone, email, online chat, or in-person to provide support and information on products or services.
  • Works with clients to determine initial goals and requirements for the space to be designed
  • Introduces and presents products to clients, answering questions and closing sales transactions.
  • Prepares sketches or other visual aids to demonstrate preliminary designs to the client
  • Consults with client to select materials and furnishings
  • Uses design applications to prepare and illustrate final plans
  • Communicate with clients and branch co-workers, as appropriate, demonstrating exceptional customer service
  • Assist in managing customer traffic at assigned showroom and proactively lead showroom tours with prospective clients
  • Determines timelines and project costs and presents accurate estimates to clients
  • Orders or obtains necessary materials, adhering to project and budget specifications
  • Maintains current knowledge of trends and materials, techniques, and other developments in company products
  • Generates accurate estimates by introducing the orders in the system, obtaining client's approval and collect deposits
  • Updates CRM system by entering prospect and customer information and documents all relevant interactions including follow ups
  • Proactively leads showroom tours with prospective clients
  • Acts as a facilitator for lunch and learns from architects and designers
  • Follows up on claims for those orders already delivered that presented issues in coordination with the quality department
  • On occasion, visits clients at desired location
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Coordinate with the Logistics Department the delivery of orders

Risks and Responsibilities.
  • Creation of customized projects: design and production of kitchen, bathroom and closet.
  • Customer service and product advice.
  • Prospecting, developing and retaining customer portfolio.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Strong visual design skills including proportion and aesthetics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to use 2020 design software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Basic understanding of building codes and inspection regulations related to interiors.
  • Bilingual (Fluent in English and Spanish)

Education and Experience:
  • Associates degree in Interior Design or related field required; coursework in computer-aided design (CAD) highly preferred.
  • At least three year of related experience required.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to distinguish between colors.
