Overview:

Longtime, locally owned restaurant We seeks a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Kitchen Team Member. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment within the food service industry. Responsibilities:

- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients

- Follow recipes and menu plans to ensure consistent quality and presentation of dishes

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow in the kitchen

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and storage areas

- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines

- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking supplies

- Support the cook or chef in various tasks as needed

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required

- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and food preparation methods is a plus

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects if necessary

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
