Kitchen Crew - Full Time/Days

Reports to: General Manager
Pay: $18+ with tips
Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, mostly days

Position Summary

Food Designers at Jasons Pizza are responsible for the accurate making of all menu items, and the preparation work of all ingredients. This employee will assist in other functions fo the restaurant, including but not limited to: registers, phone, oven tending, assisting with stocking. Food Designers will foster a positive attitude towards customers, coworkers and vendors.

Essential Functions

GENERAL

• Creates beautiful menu items based off from Jasons Pizzas make-charts.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to prepare daily prep lists for assigned stations.
• Prepare all prep needs to ensure stock for current and upcoming shifts.
• Maintain cleanliness of station, work areas and store as a whole.
• Follow all recipes to exact standards - ensure quality and consistency of every batch.
• Use scales to ensure portion control.
• Use FIFO for all items in restaurant.
• Use date dots for all product.
• Use make-charts for sandwich and pizza to ensure correct portions.
• Cleanliness inside and outside of store.
• All additional responsibilities given by management.

GUEST SERVICES

• Ensure positive guest service in person and on the phone.
• Go above and beyond for all customer to ensure their repeat business
• Educate customers on the Jasons Pizza loyalty program.

Qualifications

• High School education recommended.
• Previous food experience ideal.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must agree to background check.

Personal Requirements

• Pleasant, polite manner and a neat and clean appearance.
• Must be able to handle the pressures of simultaneously coordinating a wide range of activities and recommend appropriate solutions to restaurant problems.
• Must possess good communication skills for dealing with diverse staff.

Accountabilities

• Keeps General Manager informed about schedule needs and time-off requests.
• Completes job responsibilities and performance objectives in a timely and effective manner and in accordance with

Jasons Pizza policies and procedures.

• Maintains a favorable working relationship with all company employees.
• At all times provides a favorable image of Jasons Pizza to promote its “We Care” philosophy.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

Working Conditions

• Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products and supplies maneuver 80 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist motion.
• Work with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment as well as operates phones, computers, copiers, and other office equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $16.00 per hour
