JOB TITLE: Warehouse Kit Assembler
BASED: Eibach, Inc. 264 Mariah Circle Corona, CA 92879
JOB STATUS: Full Time and Non-Exempt
POSITION REPORTS TO: Warehouse Manager & Shipping Lead
SHIFT: 6:00 am to 2:30pm pm, 30 minutes lunch with occasional overtime approved by management.
JOB PURPOSE SUMMARY: Assembly or products to maintain finished goods stocking levels as well as kitting / assembling private label customer’s product for shipment.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Ability to interpret shipping documents
- Distribution background.
- Preparation of receiving documentation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Ability to work in a deadline driven and fast paced environment
- Regular attendance per work schedule and able to at times of high volume work overtime including Saturday work
- Lifting packages and objects from 5 to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to maintain a clean work station and assist dept. in cleaning functions
- Previous Warehouse material handling equipment or willingness to receive training
- Compliance of all warehouse safety rules and company policies
- Able to maintain confidentiality regarding shipments shipped and able to promptly distribute them to correct departments after processed
- Participate in all department and company meetings, safety meeting, or other group meetings as needed.
- Must be able to work in a professional manner with minimal supervision
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Daily assignment of Assembly Order (AO) Pull Sheets provided by Lead
- Utilize warehouse material handling equipment to locate product per AO sheet
- Material Handler brings product to stage back in Kit Assembly workstations
- Assembler verifies components and quantities per AO Sheet
- If discrepancies are found communicates to material handler to correct
- Assemblers build out cardboard boxes
- Places components, instructions, and warranty paperwork into box
- Verifies again before closing box per AO Sheet
- Closes out box by utilizing auto strapping machine or pneumatic staple gun
- Palletize and Print and label product
- Verifies final kit count
- Close out AO Sheet by entering data in ERP System
- Final Palletized product gets moved by material handler to staging area to be moved into warehouse location
- Assist in the various functions of the Warehouse Dept.
- End of day clean up of workstations for next shift
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Sitting, Standing, and bending movements: Frequent standing with breaks according to work schedule, frequent bending movements
- Repetitive work with both hands on parts and computer usage
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. at certain times
- Ability to operate a variety of warehouse material handling equipment including forklifts and manual pallet jack and maneuver product around to staging areas
- Good eyesight or prescription eyewear for accuracy in data entry
- Must have good hearing as to maintain safety around moving vehicles
