SalaryThe Koch Internship Program (KIP) is a paid, 10-week experiential learning program run by Stand Together Fellowships that offers meaningful work experience at non-profits all over the country tackling some of our nation’s most pressing challenges. Throughout your internship with a partner organization, Stand Together Fellowships hosts virtual professional development sessions every Thursday from 1-5 pm ET, wherein you will be mentored by seasoned professionals as you craft a capstone project on the topic that matters most to you. Interns will receive either a $5,500 or $3,300 stipend from Stand Together Fellowships depending on whether they are participating full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time (28 hours/week).

Act is seeking an intern interested in pursuing a career in writing, specifically in grant writing or storytelling. Your time with Act will be spent synthesizing information from Act’s Impact Team to write compelling stories and updates sharing about Act’s casework for social media and grant proposals. The ideal intern is a strong writer, excellent at time management and prioritizing tasks, able to communicate in a clear and engaging manner both verbally and in writing, and excited to learn more about Act’s mission and vision and impact on the communities we serve.
This position will be on the Advancement team and report to our remote Director of Public Relations but work closely with our on-site Foundations Officer and remote Advancement Project manager (who handles Act’s social media, annual report, and collateral). This team creates connections and awareness for our work and raises the necessary funds to support it. Advancement hosts our service opportunities and networking and education events. They produce our collateral, like our documentaries & monthly newsletters, and they support our advisory committees. They also build edifying, sustainable relationships with individual and corporate donors.

To do this, we equip underserved residents to fight crime on their streetusing the civil justice system.
