Overview:
Housing Hope is a non-profit organization providing affordable housing and support services to reduce homelessness and poverty in Snohomish County.
We are seeking a customer-oriented Crew Member responsible for preparing high quality drinks and food for our café and catering customers. You will process transactions, maintain exceptional service standards, production quality and cleanliness, delivery of orders, and assist with inventory and ordering. There is also an opportunity to support training of interns learning barista, food prep and customer service skills.
Essential Duties:
- Greet customers and take orders
- Prepare customized espresso drinks, breakfast foods and lunches efficiently
- Assure expert knowledge of menu offerings and ingredients
- Process payments accurately and reconcile cash drawer
- Maintain excellent safety, sanitation, and production standards
- Organize inventory and product orders as needed
- Contribute ideas for menu and process improvements
- Coach and mentor interns and new team members
- Deliver customer orders to locations as needed
- Staff events and promote organization's mission
Requirements:
- High school diploma
- 1+ years food service experience
- Current WA state food handler permit
- Valid WA state driver's license
- Strong customer service, communication, and coaching abilities
- Attention to quality, safety procedures
- Passion for our mission and working as part of a team

- Extensive hands-on preparation of drinks and foods
- Lifting, carrying up to 25 lbs; moving larger items with equipment
- Valid driver's license required; ability to operate catering vans delivering orders
- Driving between locations and to customer deliveries
- Loading/unloading catering delivery items of varying sizes and weights
