Kindergarten Paraprofessional

Role and Responsibilities:

• Willingness to work on academics, social skills, and activities of daily living, and participate in training to develop such skills
• Supervise/assist students across all internal school environments, and outside on school grounds
• Assist and support professional staff across the Kindergarten curriculum
• Assist in the implementation of behavior support plans for students
• Provide school-based, classroom, lunch, and arrival and recess supervision
• Assume any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Principal and/or the Teacher
• Demonstrate dependability, initiative, responsibility, and organization skills

Experience and Requirements:

• Minimum High school diploma/GED; Associated Degree or higher preferred
• Experience working with students with social, emotional, and/or behavioral needs
• Excellent oral, written, and communication skills
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required
