Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking Kids Program Team Leadfor the beautiful new Barton Creek Country Club

The Kids Program Team Lead is part of our Fun Squad. The ideal candidate has high, dynamic energy and readily engages our kids, families, and team members. They will assist leading the team on day-to-day operations in our Kids Club which is an interactive play area offered to Club Members to supervise kids ages 1 year to 8 years old. On a broader basis, the lead will assist with all family/kid events from weekly Friday events for the 6-12-year-olds to major Holiday events where we serve 600-1,400 members.

Responsibilities
  • Assist supervising staff to ensure compliance and safety for all children enrolled in programs.
  • Assist in coordinating schedules with all staff to ensure all shifts are covered.
  • Assist in executing all children activities, events, and programs.
  • Work to keep lines of communication open with member and guest parents, coworkers, Recreation/Kid's Camp Manager, and other managers who interact with department programs.
  • Aid in set up, execution and break down of all event.
  • Initiate creative ideas on an ongoing basis to keep programs entertaining and refreshed.
  • Coordinate and Monitor events and ensure quality maintenance of regularly used equipment.
  • Assist with practices, clinics, meets, and social events associated with Sharks Swim Team.
  • Perform in a manner that demonstrates excellent customer service.
  • Attend company training as required.
  • Assist in leading monthly department meetings.
  • Assume other responsibilities in Manager's and Supervisor's absence.
Qualifications

Qualifications: Experience working with children in a recreational environment is required. Team leadership experience is preferred. Must enjoy working with children. Must have flexibility with work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be CPR/Child Infant and CPR/AED certified or must obtain certification 90 days of hire. Proficient in Microsoft Office

Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift moderate weight (up to 50 pounds). Must work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions for extended periods of time.

Working Environment: Indoor Kids Club childcare facility and hotel. Outdoor with exposure to hot and cold temperatures. Frequent travel around property.

Tools & Equipment: Microsoft Office Children's play equipment
