Kids Pastor / Director

Primary Role

The Kids Pastor / Directorwill have a passion to change kids’ lives, both from within the Crossroads church body and in the Clark County community at large, by overseeing the team who leads nursery through elementary age segments of the Crossroads Community Church family. The successful candidate will cast and support vision for the kids, volunteers, and families, including:

• Weekly gatherings for kids ages 0 - 5th grade
• Volunteers in a monthly rotation
• Kids ministry staff members
• Parent training events
• 3+ large-scale kids events

• Friendly and fun personality
• Able to work on the ministry (the 30,000-foot view) and in the ministry (hands-on)
• Break down the ministry vision into roles and responsibilities needed for execution
• Calling to lead kids, volunteers, and families
• Help kids, volunteers, and families come to Jesus, learn the Bible, build healthy relationships, step out in mission in our community and our world, and learn to develop believers and leaders like themselves
• Recruit and train volunteers
• Live a life passionate about Jesus, the Bible, prayer, worship, and evangelism
• Inspire others to walk as you walk, and lead as you lead
• History of strong interpersonal relationships, and successfully leading a ministry with hundreds of kids, volunteers, a ministry staff, and many families involved
