Kids Club Supervisor

• Position will start ASAP with 30-40 hours/week Monday – Friday for the current school year and into our summer program.

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Completion of some college level or education courses strongly preferred
• Experience working with children
• Current CPR & First Aid certification (or ability to obtain if hired – training provided)

• Demonstrated success of experience working with children, families, planning, organizing, and promoting programs.

• Based on education and experience

• Ability to keep a group of children safe in a variety of program spaces
• Maintenance of attendance and counts for a group of children
• Active engagement with children in all activities during program hours
• A patient, warm, understanding and receptive attitude towards all children
• Ability to implement behavior modification in cooperation with program policies
• Ability to initiate and lead a group of children in a project, gym game, through challenging social situations, etc.

• Setting up and putting away games, equipment, and supplies according to the schedule or as directed by the Kids Club Coordinator
• Implementation of program policies and procedures
• Keeping program and storage areas clean and orderly
• Regular sanitizing of toys and equipment
• Other duties as assigned by the Kids Club Coordinator
