Khmer In-Person Interpreter (Freelance)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure accurate and seamless communication for clients.
• Maintain professional attire and deliver excellent customer service.
• Demonstrate language proficiency in English and the language you are interpreting for.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Fluency in both spoken and written for both languages (English and your other language).
• Basic computer skills (email, scheduling systems, web access).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications are beneficial but not mandatory.
• Successful clearance of a background check (made by UTT in the next phase of the hiring process).
• Legal authorization to work in the USA.
• Must be in the specified city; this is for in-person only.

PAY: $25/hr. for our entry-level (minimum to no experience), 2hr. as the minimum pay when the assignment is in person, 1hr. minimum payment (if) when remote, mileage (depending on the assignment/client); having experience or certifications can change these rates.
